2,000 aborted fetuses discovered at Buddhist Temple

Abortion is illegal in Thailand, the exceptions being if the pregnancy endangers the woman or if the woman was raped, unless you're a woman in Saudi Arabia being raped, then instead of an abortion you get 200 lashes and a jail sentence.

Last week, a Buddhist Temple in Thailand was caught hording over 2,000 aborted fetuses when the smell of decay surmounted the smell of the monks' lack of hygiene. Police have been discovering new fetuses all week, and they believe the most recent batch of 348 arrived about a year ago.

The fetuses came from an illegal abortion clinic where a woman has been arrested for performing illegal abortions and opening an unlicensed clinic without a wheelchair ramp.

It's customary for Temples in Thailand to have morticians who prepare bodies for cremation. The morticians at this particular temple were storing the fetuses until they dried out, making them easier to burn and ensuring that, just like in America, all of the potentially life-saving stem cells from the already aborted fetuses were destroyed.

Although previously believed to be impossible, this story has the ability to anger the pro-life and pro-choice factions, a truly remarkable feat that should not be overlooked. And remember, it's not whether you're for or against abortion, the important thing is that if a fetus is already aborted, it's stem cells should NOT be used to research life-saving therapies, regenerating nerves so paraplegics can walk again, or anything that can help anyone! Using stem cells from aborted fetuses for these purposes is offensive, unlike disposing of aborted fetuses as medical waste and then autoclaving them at 121° Celsius. After all, you don't gotta be no scientist to know science never done gave us nothin' before, anyhow. Science shmi-ence.
