Funeral Home Offering Free Burials to Drunk Drivers who Die New Year's Eve

In order to combat drunk driving fatalities around the New Year, McGuire, Jennings and Miller Funeral Home in Rome, Georgia is offering free funeral services to drunk drivers who successfully die tomorrow night while driving under the influence.

Like Michael Vick's dogfighting campaign which was designed to bring light to and help end animal abuse, the funeral home hopes to discourage drunk driving on New Year's Eve by making partygoers think twice before getting behind the wheel. In order to procure the free funeral service, drivers must visit the funeral home between now and noon Thursday, December 31st, and sign a contract saying they intend to drink and/or take drugs and drive on New Year's Eve. If the signees succeed in dying in a wreck that day, the funeral home will provide them with a free burial service that includes a casket, grave, preparation of the remains with a promise to limit mockery of any poorly endowed male corpses, and a limousine. The deceased will, however, be charged for consuming any items in the limo's mini-bar.

The Atlanta Police Department is also encouraging the drivers to place flashing red lights on top of their vehicles while driving intoxicated, but will not say why.

If drunk drivers take advantage of McGuire, Jennings and Miller's generous offer, the funeral home is expected to lose between $522 and $657 million dollars tomorrow night.
